Terms of Service & Guest Guidelines
Welcome to Primerose Baby Care Ltd (Babyplus). We provide professional, reliable, and dedicated babysitting services exclusively for residing guests of our partner resorts.
1. Scope of Services & Age Ratios
Babyplus provides professional childcare for children aged 1 month to 12 years old. To ensure maximum safety and attentiveness, we strictly enforce the following supervision ratios:
- Children Aged 0 to 3 Years: 1-to-1 Mandatory Ratio (1 Babysitter per Child)
- Children Aged 3 Years & Above:1-to-2 Ratio(1 Babysitter for up to 2 children within the same immediate family)
- Note: Acceptance of a 3rd child is strictly at the babysitter’s sole discretion based on manageability and safety.
2. Pricing Structure & Fees

Transportation Fee
- Mandatory Round-Trip Transport: Rs 1,200 per session / babysitter (inclusive of arrival and departure).
3. Booking & Payment Terms
- Direct Booking: All bookings are processed directly between the resort guest and Babyplus.
- Payment Method: Payments are settled directly upon arrival with the babysitter via our Babyplus Secure Card Payment Machine.
4. Service Locations & Dining Policy
- Primary Location: Childcare services are primarily provided within the guest’s hotel room or suite.
- Resort Facilities: With guest permission, babysitters may accompany children to the resort’s Kids Club or designated public guest areas within the hotel premises.
- Dining Assistance: If requested to accompany children to hotel restaurants during breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the babysitter will dine with the children. All restaurant bills incurred for the babysitter’s meals during these assignments must be settled directly by the guest.
5. Quality Control & Spot Checks
To maintain high service delivery standards, resort management grants Babyplus Management permission to perform periodic unannounced spot checks on babysitters on duty. Spot checks monitor adherence to grooming, professional demeanor, hygiene, and active engagement with children.
6. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
Cancellation Deadlines
- Advance Bookings (Confirmed before arrival): Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled service will incur a 100% cancellation fee of the total confirmed booking amount.
- Last-Minute Bookings (Made while at the resort): Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service will incur a 100% cancellation fee of the total confirmed booking amount.
No-Show Policy
If the guest or child is not present at the agreed start time without prior cancellation, a 100% fee for all confirmed hours will be charged.
7. Weather & Tropical Storm Protocols
The safety of our children and staff is our top priority. In the event of adverse weather in Mauritius, Babyplus adheres strictly to official safety directives issued by National Ministries and Authorities:
- Cyclone Warning Class 1: Services Available
- Cyclone Warning Class 2: Services Available
- Cyclone Warning Class 3 & Above: Services Suspended (Babysitters unavailable)
8. Legal Framework & Exclusivity
- Exclusivity: Babyplus operates as the sole exclusive third-party agency authorized to provide outsourced babysitting services at the resort.
- Independent Contractor: Babyplus operates as an independent service provider.
- Liability & Indemnification: Each party maintains responsibility for losses, injuries, or damages resulting directly from their respective negligence or breach of agreement, in accordance with applicable Mauritian law.
- Governing Law: This agreement is governed and enforced under the laws of the Republic of Mauritius.
